What Can a Picture Do?
This is not the type of blog I typically write. It is a plea for support but not without its reward.
This piece of beautiful art has been created by my sister Donna for a God-inspired purpose, and you can be part of the story.
Cancer is No Respecter of Persons.
Every family is touched by cancer in some way sooner or later. Our family had two devastating blows this past year. First, my nephew, Isaiah, a strapping young man in his thirties with a wife and two little girls gets a cancer diagnosis that changed their world. The timing could not have been worse. It was the summer in-between teaching jobs as they had just moved to Vancouver Island from up north. Now, he is left with no benefits, and it's been very hard on their family.
We were still reeling from that shocking news when my younger sister, Viola, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized. She lives in the States and medical services are extremely costly.
Grief hit hard.
My sister Donna, the artist, was working on this painting and struggling with the lighting and numerous other elements. She told me that when she started Winter's Glow, she had no idea what God had planned, but as she worked it was laid on her heart to give all proceeds to help with Viola and Isaiah's financial needs. When she readily agreed, it was like the paint flowed from the hand of God through her fingers and brush, onto the canvas. It is her best work of art ever!
Donna will be donating 100 percent of the proceeds from Winter's Glow, to help both families.
Join in the story and purchase a high-quality limited-edition print for only 100.00 Canadian. (Frame not included.) Shipping is extra but it can be shipped to anywhere in Canada or the USA. Then every time you look at this stunning painting on your wall, you'll be reminded of how your generosity gave wings to healing.
May you be blessed as you bless others.
